We talked to my brother Rogier, who is a pediatrician, last night and he was also very positive about the referral! We already told Beacon House that we would accept the referral after talking to Dr. Chambers at UAB, but it is very nice to get a confirmation. All the paperwork is on its way to Vladivostok so we are again in waiting mode. Although, now we have the age and size of the children I can finally start making things for them. The only material I had at home was a large ball of white yarn so.....a white sweater is now in progress. I am sure many will follow.
We are also slowely starting the room. They will share a room in the beginning till they are comfortable at our house since they are not used to sleep alone.
