We are still doing great. Saturday we took a short walk outside in the nice sunny Vladivostok weather. We borrowed a stroller from the Porters but our little boy didn't want to have anything to do with that. To much strange things going on at the same time I guess. As I told before, he needs his time to adjust to new things and being outside and in a stroller was too much. He only wanted to be carried. But carrying an 8 kg boy with a very bulky snow suit while me wearing a very bulky coat just made my arms to short to get a good hold of him with one arm (the other was occupied by our girl). So it was a short walk but nice nevertheless.
In the evening we went to the restaurant. there had been a birthday party so there were plenty of kids running around and there was a singing group. Those two together gave plenty entertainment for our kids. Our boy was jamming on his high chair tray and laughing and our girl was deciding if she wanted to run with the kids or stay at the table. The kids were older and quite noisy so she decided to stay at the table after all.
Yesterday we spent some time at the white rabbit saloon again talking to other families while the kids played. they started to venture out a bit more (it was not as busy) and walked around the room with some toys. In the afternoon there was a clown at the hotel. they do this every sunday and lots of local kids come as well. Although they were realy shy at first, the colorful balloons and the other kids running around made them join the fun most of the time.
We decided to have dinner in the room for a change and ordered in pizza and a salad. Again, everything disappeared in our kids little stomachs as if eating pizza had been an every day routine in their lives.
Tonight we'll have a potluck dinner in the white rabbit salooon with several other adoptive families which should be real fun. Each of us has limited cooking possibitlies but together we should be able to put a nice meal together. Marc is going grocery shopping with 2 other people while I'll stay home with the kids. It looks like it will be another great day!
We have met several new families here and they all have been very helpful. As I said before, we borrowed the stroller from the Porter and yesterday we exchanged toys with them so all kids have some new toys to play with. Another family who adopted a 2 year old boy as well, lent us some clothes for or boy so... today he can try on his new sweater, the only piece of child clothing that somehow was in our hand luggage. It is really great to have all these families around that you can share experiences with, brag about your kids etc!!!

We love your family, Lilian. I am so glad we have you to share this time with.
