Red square on a sunny windy day

Since it was a nice sunny day we decided to go back to red square and spend some time outside and get some nice pictures since last Saturday was such a grey and rainy day.

So after another wonderful brunch at the hotel we took off to red square, Ivan in the stroller and Hannah walking. It is amazing what a good walker she is for such a little girl who didn't get a whole lot of exericise in the baby home.  She prefers for pappa to carry her but usually she is fine walking and does so until she really get tired.

It was sunny outside but like yesterday evening really quite windy which made it not as warm as we had anticipated.  It was great to see Red Square in the sun though which made quite a difference.  We got some very nice pictures of us in front of the St. Basil cathedral and just wandering on red square.  We then took a walk around the Kremlin. The back of the Kremlin faces the river and we had some great views on that side.  On the front side we stopped and sat in the sun for juice and crackers, and Marc had spotted a street vendor that sold hot dogs so we had to stop for that as well.

Now we are back at the hotel and Marc and Hannah are sleeping. Ivan, who napped it he stroller, is calmly playing in his crib with a paper bag and some toys to take in and out. In the mean time we skyped with Opa and Oma and cousin Robin (who is 19) in the Netherlands and Ivan showed off his charming nature waving hello, good bye, play peekaboo and blew kisses to Robin.

We'll probably play some more in the playroom when everybody is awake and maybe go to the My-my close to the hotel. 

Everything is still going great.  Both kids eat and sleep great,  are usually in a great mood and are understanding more and more English. Hannah is picking up more and more words and it is really funny to see here being the big sister to Ivan. She really considers herself big and Ivan small. Which means that she will walk, get dressed by herself without help (which she usually manages wonderfully except for the occasional backwards shirt and shoes.), washes her hands by herself with the help of mamma's knee, but also that she deserves the biggest piece of banana, etc.  And she can tell Ivan to law down (kalidan), be quiet etc.
