A quiet day

After 2 exciting days we decided to stay in the hotel today.  Oh, did I tell you that we moved to a suite with a full kitchen yesterday evening?  That added up to the excitement yesterday and both kids had a hard time falling asleep in spite of no nap in the afternoon. That is being made up for right now, daddy included.

So we played in the play room upstairs this morning, ran in the halls for a while and said goodbye to the Porters who left about 2 hrs ago. It was sad to see them leave but they have become friends and I am sure we'll stay in touch.  We inherited a lot of food from them which came in handy now we have a kitchen!  Amber and Justin and their kids are leaving tomorrow. It is going to be quiet since no new family was added this week.  Especially for Hannah who became friends with Samuel who was 4 years old. Most kids here are a lot smaller.  But who knows... maybe there will be some new kids next week. I know that there is a Canadian couple who had their court date the same day as we did but were not allowed to take their daughter home. Their 10 day waiting period is over on Monday as well so they should get their daughter on that day. The same day we will officially be the parents of our 2 munchkins!!!  Yes... on Monday I can finally put pictures on this blog to show them off to the rest of the world.

Tomorrow Oksana will come to complete some forms and take pictures of our kids Russian passports! The first passport. The Dutch and American ones will follow soon, hopefully.
